Pictures of Activities

In other words, stuff I couldn't easily categorize...
Another beautiful day at Pennsic War

This is a picture of the reconstruction of Chartres Cathedral, an ambitious project that was undertaken by the Known World Architectural Guild at Pennsic XXIII. The Guild did a fantastic job converting the Cooper's Barn into this colorful spectacle. The picture appeared in the Winter 1995 issue of Tournaments Illuminated. However, they neglectedt o give me credit!

"No time to Repent? Let us do it for you! Have you succumbed to the multitude of temptations about you? Lust, Avarice, Gluttony, we repent 'em all! Let us mortify our flesh on your behalf!" "Reasonable rates" "Ask About our Advance Penance Special" Insanity during the Midnight Madness celebration.

Both Leona d'Este and HL Horst von Horstmann have informed me that The gentleman who made the armor is Tavish Macintosh (m.k.a. George Carroll) and resides in the Middle Kingdom.

This photo was taken at Dov and Thora's campsite at Pennsic XXIV, where they were performing numerous woodworking experiments with these foot powered lathes. "Diku ona stiku DES!" This authentic Japanese fertility ritual was once again re-enacted this year, to the sounds of joyous shouts, drums, and cheering crowds.
